The Story of Supreme Health Coach, Andii Lindsay
Andii is a fashion designer and serial entrepreneur of Jamaican heritage. As a young girl, her passion for textiles and fabrics was indulged as she watched the women in her family sewing. At 17, Andii received a runner-up prize in a national design competition before heading to fashion school.
In 2015 she was invited to the Houses of Parliament in London and was recognised for launching the UK’s first boutique dedicated to ethical and sustainable menswear.
The highlights of her enterprising spirit have included selling $3,000,000 of her fashion-forward sustainable womenswear line before the age of 30 and in the early ’00s, being a part of a business case study that would later form the strategy for Creative London. That case study went on to inspire the UK government’s Creative Hubs strategy.
Andii credits her work ethic and enterprise to her Jamaican family, who emigrated to London in the mid-’60s. She also credits her Nanny Laura for setting an intention for lifelong health when, as a teenager, hearing her grandmother complaining about her many ailments, Andii vowed to put health and wellness at the centre of her life.
However, in 2002 her 100 MPH life came to a crashing standstill when she was diagnosed with ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis is also known as chronic fatigue syndrome. Her life shrank as she spent six months bedridden, sleeping 20 hours a day. Burnt out, exhausted, and unable to work and fully care for her daughter for 18 months, Andii realised that although her eating habits, exercise routines and spiritual practices were a part of her success, her emotional self was battered, bruised, and crushed. As she lay bedridden, Andii realised that LIFE had given her the opportunity that her SOUL desired; The chance to work out what was important to her and heal her emotional self. In the stillness and quiet of her contracted life, she set about finding the balance that her Soul required. She doubled down into her spiritual practices that had been left by the wayside in the pursuit of her entrepreneurial dreams.
Having embraced a naturalist lifestyle for over 35 years, Andii has spent the last three years fine-tuning her protocols for holistic health, which address the hangover of emotional, psychological and physical imbalances of PTSS.
It took a couple of years, but Andii eventually cured herself of ME and her emotional pain as a lone parent. She developed an award-winning and influential Caribbean restaurant chain and coached over 500 people as an accredited life coach. In 2015 she was invited to the Houses of Parliament in London and was recognised for launching the UK’s first boutique dedicated to ethical and sustainable menswear.
In 2016, following a series of traumatic events and “the heartbreak of all heartbeats”, when Michael, her daughter’s boyfriend, took his own life, Andii experienced what she describes as an invisible breakdown and the darkest period of her life. Andii was again allowed to test her healing modalities using them to help her recover from sciatica, anaemia and a “deep brokenness” that had her behaving in erratic and reckless ways.
Having embraced a naturalist lifestyle for over 35 years, Andii has spent the last three years fine-tuning her protocols for holistic health, which address the hangover of emotional, psychological and physical imbalances of PTSS (post-traumatic stress syndrome. Through her business HoliHealthHack, she empowers overwhelmed and pre-burnout High Achievers, Boss Girls, Entrepreneurs, and Hustlers, teaching them how to break through their health blocks, implement #NoBSHealthHacks, and transition to a plant-centred diet. These practices enable them to boost their immune system, heal their ailments naturally, put their wellbeing on autopilot and regain their balance, energy, and joy for life!
Andii has been described as inspirational, being an “iron fist in a velvet glove” and having a gift for “making the complex simple” and “easy like Sunday morning”. Her vision is a planet of supreme sovereign beings vibrating as their true holistically healthy, joyful selves. Her mission is to empower others to flourish in their professional and entrepreneurial lives without compromising their health and maintaining a sense of wellbeing, balance, wholeness, and purpose in a rapidly changing world.
