Johnstone Terkuma Kpilaakaa is passionate about improving individuals and communities through the use of EdTech, Digital Tools and the Media to boost quality education, employability and personal & community development.

He hails from Mbayion-Mbakya in Gboko local government area of Benue State. Johnstone had his junior and senior post-primary education at Kings Comprehensive College, Mkar and Federal Government College, Vandeikya respectively.

Johnstone Co-founded an organisation that is aimed at curbing domestic violence by equipping the girl child with digital skills and entrepreneurial skills.

Johnstone is currently a student of Biology and Education at the University of Jos, Plateau State. Over the years, he has been part of different community development projects including; Thinking Cap Literacy Initiative, an organization that is aimed at rolling out illiteracy in the less privileged communities, they are also the organizers of Benue IDP Camp project that holds annually. 

Aside from community development engagements, Johnstone is committed to educating youths on how to leverage digital tools for employability and other global opportunities. Since February 2020, He has trained more than 500 youths on different digital skills via various platform including the Google Digital Skills For Africa Training.

Also, Johnstone serves in the Media and Communication Team of other organizations that are working towards the growth of Nigeria; some of them are; Block Malaria Project, SMSG Africa, Education 4 All By Cirkle amongst others. 

In collaboration with an Idoma lady, he Co-founded an organization that is aimed at curbing domestic violence by equipping the girl child with digital skills and entrepreneurial skills.

The 20 year old Gboko born has a diploma in Journalism and other certifications in Rudiments of Broadcasting and News Writing, Investigative Journalism and was recently trained by Premium Times Centre for Investigative Journalism on Accountability Journalism.

As a Google Certified Digital Marketer, he offers various digital marketing services including; Social Media Management, Content Writing, LinkedIn Optimization, Copywriting amongst others.
