To Write About One Who Means So Much To You
Dearest Debbie Chagu,
Drawing from the fuel of my emotions, my pen trembles as it begins its journey of writing to you about you. Even for a writer, the words to flesh my thoughts correctly have suddenly gone extinct and my vocabulary begging for an overhaul, for how do you begin to write about one who means so much to you?

Meeting you is an avalanche of blessing that has ambushed me in life.
Aper Aku Auditorium is forever crystallized in my soul.
For there I stumbled across a rare gem.
Your natural beauty that is not aided by artificials is incontestable
Your maturity and sense of responsibility is endearing
Your judgement is acute and precise
But your understanding and motherliness supersede them all.
Your love for God is naturally bereft of religious hypocrisy and bigotry
Your liveliness is contagious; your joy effervescent.
Jack of all trades, master of all.
You are God’s gift to me and gifts usually ain’t deserved.
My best friend!
No secrets, no pretence, no pressure.
My number one fan. Is there anything we haven’t done together?
How did we come this far? It must be God. Lol.
But you give life a simplicity that cures depression.
I want to tell you that every moment with you is memorable and I always tuck them away safely in the archives of my history. Any biography not laced and intertwined with your person at every phase of life is simply not my biography! You are God’s gift to me and gifts usually ain’t deserved.
Remember those dreams you shared with me? Am right behind you urging you to go realise them.
As you celebrate today, I pray for you from the depth of my heart that you will fulfil Purpose, exert influence, model chastity and a complete and successful woman which our world is in dire need of.
May you find the God you’ve always longed for at depths that create ecstasies that are alien to humanity.
