I want to be able to influence people’s attitude towards their fellow men, to heal people with my music and to foster love and unity of mankind
In 2010 at Arise Nigeria Music and Talent Competition Season 2 where he won first prize, Judges like Temac Iseli and Kelly Adams boldly projected that Seth has the potential to become one of the greatest musicians of his time. Mrs Olando Owo, another judge made a startling remark that Seth reminds her of legends such as Bob Marley and John Lennon with deep lyrics and hypnotic performance. And he truly left the audience at the theatre of Lagos Television, Agidingbi with lyrics and performance that would always remain with them.
Seth is undoubtedly a purely natural born talent considered by many as a philosophical and revolutionary songwriter and singer. He inspired by the likes of Majek Fashek, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Bob Marley, Asa, John Lennon among others. In his words “I want to be able to influence people’s attitude towards their fellow men, to heal people with my music and to foster love and unity of mankind” “Love is my religion. Truth and justice is my anchor”.
Though a solo artist, Seth performs regularly with a multinational band called Afrovibes in concerts. He has performed for the European Union, Nigeria, UNICEF, amongst others.
Seth Ogahi also plays rhythm guitar and percussion and a graduate of Literature from Benue State University, Makurdi Nigeria.
