MUTUK Elects New Management Committee

Culture, Tradition 1/05/2021 by Dr Kohol Iornem

The message was simple: “You guys have rebuilt this organisation despite the pandemic and other tragedies, we have witnessed remarkable achievements under your leadership”.

On this note, I would like to thank all MUTUK members for the trust and confidence reposed in us. We will not take this mandate for granted.

Congratulations to our newly elected Management Committee members. Starting with myself as the President; Amb. Susan Waya (Vice President); Mr. Kevin Terna Korgba (Secretary General); Mrs Rebecca Torkwase Kral (Assistant Secretary); Mrs Joy Kange (Publicity Secretary); Ms. Vivian Kave (Social Secretary); Mrs Mags Iveren Bertie (Financial Secretary); Mr. Aleva Bemdoo Victor (Treasurer); and Mrs Joyce Erdoo Maagbe (Chief Whip).Kudos to the outgone Management Committee. It was a great pleasure working alongside each of you. The success of our administration was because of our collective efforts.

I would like to express my profound gratitude to Ms Salome Biam and Princess Pauline Agbo. These two distinguished elders felt their retirement was long overdue and knowing that MUTUK is now in capable hands, they decided to step aside to support us in advisory capacity instead.

I would like to thank the Electoral Chairman, Mr Joseph Ajai and members, Desmond Orgem Ahura and Annabelle Stephanie Enos-Edu, for their unwavering commitment in conducting and supervising the electoral process.

My appreciation goes to my wife, family, friends, and well-wishers. I am counting on your continued support as always.

The new executive will be meeting immediately to discuss solutions to the pertinent issues confronting the Tiv nation and also kickstarting our projects and programs for the year.

God bless you all.

Dr Kohol Shadrach Iornem President – MUTUK
